Just a few months back I went to Yellowstone, the first National Park in America. Needless to say, the scenery was beyond words. There were waterfalls, lakes, and mountains, plus, there were sulfur everywhere! The reason how Yellowstone got its name is when the settlers first came here, most of the rock were yellow due to years of ''coloring'' done by the sulfur.
The first few hours we went to look at the sulfurs that ''spilled'' from the volcanic eruptions, they were simply beautiful! They were orange yellow in color, and they were all over the place! Although they look beautiful, but do not be deceived by them, they bear an unbearable stench that can be smelt miles away. We then went to our hotel rooms as it was getting late and everybody was tired after a 4 hour drive in order to reach our destination.
The second day, we went to see the famous water fountains of Yellowstone, they were not as astounding as the ones in Niagara but nonetheless aspiring. All this talking sure make me wanna go and have a vacation in Yellowstone again, well I guess everything has a next time!
